![]() I allied Queek because he owned the settlements I needed to finish the campaign and allies can hold them. Towards the end I paid nearly everything I had to get Queek into the war against the Empire. He was power ranking 3 most of the end game. Queek had something like 120 settlements and owned most the entire eastern half of the map. He had the settlements I needed so really the only objective I had left to complete was the destruction of Reikland. Around this point I finally secured a military alliance with him. Queek, at some point or another, had confederated Throt and I had been working on his attitude for awhile. Only two campaign objectives left - destroy Riekland and own 5 listed cities. I sent 1 of the defender stacks as well as a fresh one south to the Empire working on finishing them off. I repelled the first invasion using three stacks. The Elves would be the bane of my existence and if they were summoned to reality they would be extremely satisfied to know how much they fucking tortured me for about 100 turns. ![]() With the Dark Elves finally forcing me out of Norsca by about turn 185. From then on the eastern portion of Norsca was a tug-o-war between me and the Dark Elves. I had set Throgg and Wulfrik up near Bearsonling Camp so when Chaos invaded I made quick work of the pretender's horde with ambushes and lightning strikes.Ībout 2 turns after I had thoroughly savaged Chaos Morathi and Malekith threw something like 12 stacks each at the eastern end of Norsca. Took them out, did the last challenger quest battle. I essentially did the same route and when the challengers came I was prepared. I had to backtrack about 25 turns to the river Reik and start over from the bank of the river. It was then I discovered the quest is somewhat bugged and if your ally (or anyone else) kills one of the challengers you cannot complete the quest. I killed one that spawns on the western coast of Norsca and Throt killed the other. I finished my razing and was sent the challengers. We had made a defensive alliance because of the Vampires so I was all right with this.Īfter the Vampires were in check it was time to begin the Chaos questline. I headed south towards the river Reik and then east towards Sylvania where I took out the Vampires and Throt took their nothern territories for his own. Since I had consolidated Norsca I had finally been on the offensive with raiding armies working their way along the northern coast of the empire. The invasion lasted for around 20 turns and ended at about turn 85. Soon after conquering the central Empire they headed north and started invading Norsca via Kislev. Since the Empire was siphoning all of it's resources towards Bretonnia, as the Red Duke strangely got a very strong foothold in Southern Bretonnia, the Vampires ended up consuming everything but Reikland and Middenland by the end of the Marienburg Trials. During this conflict I had taken Altdorf for the technology (and Couronne) I nearly destroyed the Empire while I was looting and sorely regretted not destroying them when I had the chance. I ended up seceding from our war after I had let Surtha simmer in Norsca upgrading all of *my* cities. ![]() After quickly deleting the King, I took Marienburg and proceeded to fight over the city for about 50 turns. The first thing I did was invade Bretonnia and wipe Leon from the face of the earth. For two turns near the end I suffered attrition due to having no more settlements. Morathi and Malekith dominated the western half of the world, including Ulthuan. If the campaign had gone on any longer I would have lost.
